If you’ve been with me for a while, you may have noticed a little change around here … Living Intentionally Co has a new logo. The Tree of Life has gracefully stepped aside, and in its place blooms the lotus flower.

You might be wondering why the change. After all, the Tree of Life has always symbolized growth, grounding, and connection. But as Living Intentionally Co has evolved, so has the heart of its message. The lotus flower spoke to me in a way that felt undeniable … because the lotus doesn’t just symbolize growth, it embodies resilience, renewal, and transformation.

The lotus grows in muddy, murky waters, yet instead of being weighed down, it pushes through the darkness and blooms above the surface … pure, vibrant, and radiant. That journey mirrors the process of journaling for self-development.

When we put pen to paper, we often begin in the “mud”, the messy, complicated, overwhelming parts of our lives. Journaling asks us to sit with the murk, reflect on it, and gradually rise above it. Over time, page by page, thought by thought, we uncover clarity. We open ourselves to healing. And like the lotus, we blossom one petal at a time.

The lotus also reminds me of patience. Growth doesn’t happen overnight, and neither does transformation. Journaling isn’t about rushing to answers; it’s about allowing yourself the space to unfold, layer by layer, into who you are becoming.

By choosing the lotus, I wanted Living Intentionally Co to reflect not just the act of growth, but the beauty of resilience and the courage it takes to rise. It’s a reminder that even if you feel stuck in the mud right now, your story is still in progress … and your bloom is waiting.

This isn’t just a logo update. It’s a promise: that through intentional journaling, you can navigate the muddy waters of life and find your own way to the surface, where your true self is ready to shine.
